Work Responsibilities
As a Dairy Farm Worker, you may be responsible for the following tasks:
- Monitor the health of dairy animals
- Report and help treat livestock health issues
- Feed and care for animals every day
- Milk cows using farm equipment
- Operate automated milking systems
- Clean barns, stables, pens, and farm yards
- Perform general farm duties
- Maintain farm equipment and machinery
- Operate machinery when required
- Clean equipment using special cleaning and rinsing solutions
- Assist with daily dairy cattle management
